2- Day Hybrid Trade Seminar on The Importance of using UCP600 in Conjunction with International Standard Banking Practice (ISBP) & Applying the Shipping Practice in Compliance with UCP600.

Seminar Fee: $988.00

Time: 9.00 am to 5.00 pm (SGT)

This 2-Day Hybrid workshop will feature in-depth discussion of a variety of pertinent issues impacting letter of credit law and practice, including a practical analysis of the latest case studies, and a look at the early days of the International Standard Practice (ISBP), and the latest update on the effort now underway to revise UCP.

Including numerous unnecessary shipping disputes and inefficient documentary delays following the implementation of UCP600 were the result of a lack of shipping perspective underlying the LC documentation. The facts showed that such problems have plagued traders, importers, exporters, LC practitioners and shipping agents issuing the shipping documents in avoidable quandary.  These were the findings by the trainer who conducted shipping workshops for most of the foreign banks in Singapore and many MNCs after the introduction of UCP600.

This course will gain insights into applying corrective shipping (and airfreight) practice pre-emptively in compliance with new UCP600 requirements.
